Famous Bollywood singer Mika Singh recently performed in Karachi, Pakistan and apparently the singer was recently captured singing at the wedding festivities of the daughter of former President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf's close relative. Now, the video of Mika’s performance in Karachi has gone viral on social media and has created an outrage. Netizens are furious with the singer and they are calling him out for his decision.
Mika Singh, known for his hit songs like Jumme Ki Raat and Aankh Maare was invited to perform at the wedding festivities along with a crew of 14 people. His performance came right after Indian government repealed Article 370, which revoked the special status given to Jammu and Kashmir. Post which Pakistan banned Indian films and cultural content. Amid the mounting tensions, Mika’s decision to perform at the wedding in Pakistan evoked a lot of outrage by his fans and they took to Twitter to express their feelings. While one user commented, “A traitor may not have been spotted in Pak; but u've brought one to the notice of Indian Tweeple, now!” while another user wrote, “Shame on #MikaSingh for performing in Pakistan in the current situation & at a time when Pakistan has stopped all relations with India.”

Mika Singh reportedly performed on August 8 at the wedding festivities and it came to be known after some guests at the event filmed his performance and shared it on social media. Certain reports suggest that the pop singer charged 15000 USD (Rs. 1.06 crore approx) for the performance.
